Most of these frames did not make it into the final sequence, but they helped me visualize and understand what I needed to do in order to achieve overall cohesiveness within a consistent mood. 

As I kept moving forward, I realized that the compositions of the previous frames were not as engaging and did not really showed what The Alchemist was truly about, which was dealing with the ups and downs of life, and sometimes being shadowed by life events. Experimenting with gold materials, lights, and shadows was vital to inspire a new vision of what the sequence could potentially look like.
